I am trying to make a movement to get a law passed to make small animal abuse illegal in the big chain pet shop business. Many lives of small animals are over looked. Many are hurt, abused, and killed. Most small animals in big chain pet shops are not given proper care and are sick or injured. When you go into a pet shop, you see all the healthy and happy animals. But what you don't see is behind closed doors and out of public eye. Behind doors lie sick and injured animals lying in pain with no voice to cry for help. Abuse starts even before animals arrive at the shop. The care before animals are put in pet shops is heart breaking and extremely hard to watch, and it is impossible not to try to do anything about it. One person cannot solve this issue alone, so that is why I have set out to ask for YOUR help. You can make a big difference. Just by signing this petition we get closer to our goal; to pass small animal safety laws. This would insure the safety and wellness of small animals in pet shops and in breeding industries.
