Legislate A Law To Make All Puppy/Animal Mills Illegal Across Canada

A LIFE IN PERPETUAL PAIN & HELL . . .
Puppy Mills are strictly a money making business, with the facility designed purely for profit, not for the well-being of the dogs. When we buy a pet from a store that sells puppies, we contribute to a heartless underground industry that forces dogs to spend their entire lives in cages; constantly breeding.
Dogs receive little, to no, veterinary care and often suffer from preventable diseases and painful disfigurements. Their paws have never touched the ground but have only felt the open wire or their cages, resulting in bleeding cut paws & sores that never heal.
4 or 5 dogs are crammed together in one cage & the cages are stacked one on top of the other. Their excrement falls on those that live below them.
Their cages are seldom or never been cleaned, the dogs have never been groomed or bathed, their coats can be long & matted which makes it very painfull for them to even move. There are hundreds of dogs that don't get fresh water or food for days.
All you have to do is sign this petition that says ..... "WE DEMAND A LAW THAT SAYS, NO MORE PUPPY/ANIMAL MILLS IN OUR COUNTRY. WE ARE THE WORLD AND WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS."

Dear Mr. David Wilks,
I'm a member of your riding & voted for you. I met you & your wife in Invermere at my mothers home on Fort Point.
I'm sending you this petition with 2,178 signatures asking that a "Law/Laws", with no loopholes, be made to make puppy/animal mills illegal across Canada. Since this was written the total has risen to 2,235 signatures.
I think that it's time Canada steps up to protect, save & speak out for all the animals that can not speak for themselves.
We as Canadians are so much better than to let these atrocities continue in this day and age when we have the knowledge of what goes on in these mills. No longer should we turn our backs on these animals, convincing ourselves that "they are only animals" and people need to make a living.
People could make a living raising animals by having inspections, quota's, clean & humane living conditions, where animals can at least put their feet on the ground, have vet care, clean water and food everyday and not impregnating females 12, 13 times or more.
I feel sick to my stomach when fellow human beings do not care and do nothing, while these puppy/animals suffer to death for the sake of profit.
Please, help me and all Canadians by legislating laws, that are way past due, to end this horrid suffering of all puppy/animals that are raised in mills.
If you ever have a chance, I challenge you to actually go to a puppy mill to see first hand what goes on. I guarantee you will never be the same again and will join us in this fight.
