Chronic pain patients should not have to suffer to fight other people’s addictions.

Illinois & Indiana…chronic pain patients, cancer patients ,Elderly patients who cannot get to the Dr office to get the prescription for pain medications are in pain. They also cannot affored frequent Dr visits. Please fight for them! They have no voice. They are at the end of a hard working life with no pain relief.

The new rules have banned prescribing more than a month’s supply of hydrocodone-containing drugs and prevent refills without a new doctor visit. Prescriptions are not be allowed to be phoned, faxed or emailed. You have to go the Dr office and pick of script.

We have went from one end of the spectrum to the other. We need to re - write this law. Someone with an injury being prescribed a single bottle of hydrocodone is treated the same as a cancer patient who needs regular doses of oxycodone.

Do we not have a human right to adequate pain relief?
