Lift ban against Pitbulls in Monticello, IA
Banning breeds of dogs is in the past! We need to move forward giving all tax payers equal rights to adopt whatever dog they wish! Pitbulls and many others have been pegged as "dangerous" from very uneducated people in charge! Stand up for all breed of dogs and educated your law makers that blood doesn't create a monster, monsters create monsters! No more breed bashing and more facing the problem of bad pet owners! Every dog has the ability to be amazing animals when in a loving home. As every human can be amazing! One way is to sign today and let our city know that times have changed and it's time a silly law is changed as well!!

Thank you everyone who has signed and shared this petition! We've intrigued KCRG. The Monticello animal shelter and I had an interview with them today. It went very well! We are gaining so many supporters and tons of love!! We can't thank you all enough! We are still in early stages but will keep u all updated during this!
