The other day I was driving down south main and I saw a church organization cleaning up the side walks. Many times I have seen good deeds be associated with religious people and while religion is great, it's NOT strictly for those people. Anyone is able to do a good deed. Big or little. Keeping the streets and side walks clean is like keeping a house clean. It's not only the streets, but schools and public places as well. Yes, we have people that are paid to do these things but we are the ones who have made the mess and we should be responsible to help. It's a little task, but makes a big difference! We all live on this planet and we all should take care of it. Being an environmentalist has nothing to do with just wanting a better looking city, state, or country. Cleaning something means you take pride in it. Seeing a piece of trash big or little, it doesn't take much of your time to pick it up and dispose of it. We are all at fault. Therefore we should all have a hand in taking the initiative to make a difference. So I encourage you to just take pride in your surroundings.
