Iran Dog Lovers Face 74 Lashes, Fines Under New Law
Could we change this inhumane and unfair law....?
Please help to stop this treatment of dogs and their human companion. This is not only cruelty to animals but also breach of human rights. This will force the owners to either kill or abandon their dogs for fear of prosecution. Where in Prophet's commands or Koran is written that dogs must be destroyed or their owners must be prosecuted?
Dogs are amoung the gentelest animals on earth. For centuries dogs have been living alongside humans. They have been source of comfort to elderlies, sick and dying.
Dog owners are not criminals by any standard. Their prosecution will place a question mark on Islamic values and it's treatment of it's subjects.
Do not allow this legislation becomes one of the standard by which Islam is measured . In the name of the Allah who is kind and forgiving be kind.
