Tell Drake to Donate Proceeds from his North Carolina Show to LGBTQ Equality!

Many musicians, celebrities, and event organizations - including Bruce Springsteen and the NBA All Star Game -- have elected not to play in North Carolina in light of its discriminatory legislation blocking cities from allowing transgender individuals to use public bathrooms that match the gender they identify with.

Drake is one of the most celebrated and iconic artists in modern hip-hop, and because of that, he has a responsibility to stand up for social change and against discrimination. He is set to play at North Carolina's Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro on Aug. 23. Drake has the opportunity to send a powerful message against North Carolina’s hate law by donating the proceeds from his upcoming North Carolina show to an organization that promotes LGBTQ rights and equality.

As a transgender woman, I know how valuable it can be for prominent people in media and culture to stand up for our community. Celebrities are in a unique position because when they speak up or donate to a cause, many, many people listen.

Sign the petition to urge Drake to donate proceeds from his North Carolina show to make a positive contribution to LGBTQ rights.
