There are only 3 youth softball fields available in all of Vista (only 2 with lights). All 3 are in south Vista near RBV HS. Fields at Breeze Hill and Brengle Terrace are almost exclusively reserved for adult players and little league.
Bub Williamson Park in northwest Vista has a youth softball field that was used extensively by Bobby Socks Softball but the field has no lights. The City of Vista has budgeted changes to this park to include removal of the softball field and replacing it with a lighted arena soccer field and tot lot.
Bub Williamson Park can accommodate a shared youth softball and youth soccer field. The turf portion of a re-designed park could be shared, depending on which sport is in season. Tell the City of Vista to light the existing youth softball field and share the turf area with a youth soccer field in the Park redesign.
