Remove the Bellaire Stop Signs Now!

Recently, the city of Fort Worth has decided to implement new stop signs on the west side of Bellaire. These stop signs are a nuisance and completely disrupt the flow of traffic on Bellaire. I am calling for a removal of these signs that inhibit flow and are actually MORE likely to cause accidents.
This is a commercial delivery route, meaning trucks and other delivery vehicles (although rare) should not be slowed down by such ridiculous signs. The stop signs are not placed at a 4 way intersection (Besides the ones that were already there) and are only designed to slow people down on a street that is mainly only driven on by friendly Tanglewood moms and other family members.
These signs were designed to limit speeding, and therefore limit the number of accidents that occurred on the street (0 in recent years as far as I have researched.) However, I believe they are actually more likely to cause an accident. If a person is stopped at the center of the T intersection, preparing to make a left or right turn, they would already be required to stop and yield to the little oncoming traffic that is easily visible. Now, the stop signs cause both sides of the T to stop. Unfortunately, I have seen far too many vehicles ignore the 4 way stop only a few hundred yards down from this location. If this occurs at either of the new locations a car at the middle of the T might think that the other car is going to stop, and they will be severely disappointed when they receive an injury from Debra "Debbie",a Tanglewood mom, who "forgot" to stop at the new sign. By limiting the numbers of those who yield, we may limit the number of accidents for those who "forget" or actually forget to stop at the new sign. This will also create a more efficient and safe road for the citizens who drive on it every day.
Please join me in informing Mayor Betsy Price about the issues of these new stop signs, and to inform her that maybe we should be fixing the issues such as the 100's of potholes that plague the Fort Worth area.
