The one-year-old German shepherd mix puppy at the Devore Shelter in San Bernardino, Calif. is one of several dogs who are currently on death row. This dog, known only as ID#A529937, will never know the joy of running across a sandy beach or romping in tall grass, unless strangers step in to lend him a hand.
