Only sign this petition if you would want to TAKE the ASL class if it became available. You would drop a class to chose this one, and you're 100% serious about it. I need this petition to show the board of education that kids will actually take this class, and it is wanted. If you have followed this from the beginning then you already know, but if you don't, I am a senior at LCMR and my name is Shelbie Snyder I am interested in starting an ASL Class (American Sign Language) at LCMR. We have languages such as Spanish, and french, but I bet you didn't know ASL counts a a foreign language for NJ and a lot of colleges accept it. I dont just want this language because it is interesting, but it is also extremely useful. There is an extreme amount of deaf population in New Jersey, and believe it or not some of your peers have hearing issues as well. So if you're serious about this class as much as I am and you are a student at LCMR please sign this petition so I can let the board of education see I dont stand alone. Thank You -Shelbie Snyder
