Tell Pandora To Give Rdio Back!

Each and everyday, millions of users would turn to the popular - and now former - streaming music service known as Rdio (or Rdio Music) for all their music needs. Unfortunately, at the very end of 2015 and into the light of 2016, Rdio was acquired by the similar yet ever-expanding personalized radio service, Pandora. While this may be fortunate for the hundreds of Pandora subscribers, it is extremely unfortunate for those who happen to love the free or low-cost on-demand music previously offered by Rdio.

Why is it unfortunate? Well, it just so happens that I was among the many subscribers who fell in love with Rdio...its user interface was clean, it was universal (it worked perfectly across Apple and Android devices as well as Macs and PCs), and let's not forget my favorite feature: the complete ease of use across the UI.

Back to Pandora, though, this petition has been started because I believe that Pandora needs to give Rdio back, and after they've done that, if they really want to help, they can help build Rdio back up to the way it used to be. Thank you for taking the time to read this; I'd be extremely thankful if you all showed your support.

To Whom It May Concern,

We, the undersigned, strongly urge Brian McAndrews of Pandora as well as all of its employees to take the following petition into consideration and return Rdio to its proper place on the Web. We realize that this may be a financial issue (funding); however, we are requesting, if Rdio cannot sustain sufficient funds to stay active, that some sort of funding be put into place.

Millions of subscribers formerly used Rdio for all their music needs, and we therefore feel that things should stay the way they used to be. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We look forward to hearing from you.
