Dear Kelly,
Please join PETA in protesting Barbara Bui's use of fur and exotic skins during an event with the designer at her Beverly Hills store, then join local supporters of the March to Close Down All Slaughterhouses (MTCAS), the Animal Protection and Rescue League, and PETA in protesting outside a slaughterhouse. Posters and brochures will be provided. For the MTCAS protest, you're encouraged to wear a MTCAS T-shirt or a red shirt. Note that reserved parking will not be available for either event, and please be prepared for the weather. Outreach events are a fun and effective way to help animals as well as meet local advocates, so before you go, check out PETA's outreach tips and be sure to invite everyone you know. If you can't make it, you can still help by pledging to be fur-free and pledging to go vegan for 30 days—and urging others to do so, too.
