Boycott Eden Foods for Refusing to Cover Employees' Birth Control

The recent Supreme Court decision regarding women's health issues under the Affordable Care Act was supported by Eden Foods, whose CEO characterizes certain reproductive preventive measures as a lifestyle choice incongruous with his religious beliefs.

To build a corporate image of responsibility but to inflict personal beliefs on women is unacceptable.

Founder and devout Catholic Michael Potter described contraceptives as “lifestyle drugs," the same as “Viagra, smoking cessation, weight-loss” tools and other meds. He even compared birth control to “Jack Daniels."

Please sign the petition pledging to boycott Eden Foods until the owner agrees to cover contraceptives in the employee insurance plan!

Eden Foods,

We the undersigned find your anti-contraceptive stance abhorrent and believe it is wrong for you to infringe on your employees' right to obtain birth control and other contraceptives under their insurance plans.

We pledge to boycott your business until you take a more compassionate stance.
