Tell Dish Network to give Brandon Coats his job back with back pay

Brandon Coats was fired from his job at Dish Network in 2010 after testing positive for THC. Even though Colorado voters approved the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes in 2000, and for recreational use by adults in 2012.

A car crash left him paralyzed when he was in his teens. For years he experienced violent muscle spasms and seizures that only abated in 2009, when he was first prescribed marijuana for relief.

Brandon is a 35 year old quadriplegic, with a prescription, who wasn't impaired at work. Whatever rights DISH has under federal law, it's a bad DISH corporate policy and horrible way to treat a person. They didn't HAVE to fire him.

When the state Supreme Court decided in favor of DISH in Brandon's suit against them, their response was simply "As a national employer, Dish remains committed to a drug-free workplace and compliance with federal law.”

What about Brandon's medical needs and the will of the Colorado voters?
