First of all, the reason why the Yahoo team keeps making updates to the site is all for the money - Yahoo doesn't care about what we( the members) want.
Problem#1 - The format. Yahoo thought it would be such a great idea for them to change our green format to an ugly purple. They also thought it was a great idea for them to get rid of the Yahoo Avatars. For many of the members who were on Yahoo! Answers for years, they are having a hard time adapting to the new format. And recently, there are more trolls and spammers on the site than ever before. The green format was best for a majority of users.
Problem#2- No more community voting. I know that some people may cheat by voting for their own answers, but Yahoo not allowing community voting is a major problem. First of all, some askers may never chose a best answer, therefore that leaves the question open for people to answer forever, therefore no one gets 10 points or gets chosen for the best answer. Secondly, so many people who were once top contributors now lost their badges because a majority of askers don't pick best answers to their questions. Lastly, it's confusing to know what state a question is in without the "reference," "open," and "In Voting," tabs.
