On August 30th, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell froze in the middle of a press conference in response to a question about his re-election, asking "what are we talking about?" before going completely blank and standing silently for several minutes.
This is the second time in several months that he's done this, and other reports indicate that McConnell was hospitalized and treated for a concussion and a broken rib earlier this year after one of "multiple" falls. Re-election should be the last thing on McConnell's mind.

McConnell is 81 years old and clearly no longer has any business being in office. Even when he was younger, we can't really call what he did "governing" in any sense of the word, but the continuous obstruction of progress by wealthy, stubborn gerontocrats has got to come to an end.
As a US Senator, he has the power to affect the lives of every American in the country — and we deserve to have those decisions made by a mentally sound person.
