Stop MacLehose Care unit being closed

MacLehose court provide much needed 24 hour care to younger people with severe and complex disabilities. There aren't enough of these facilities for our young adults and it is a much needed unit.

We ask that the care home remain open to its residents and that they are not forced to relocate to alternative homes or accommodation. The impact of any relocation is of significant concern, and is feared will be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of residents who reside at MacLehose Court.

We ask that the unit is not converted into flats, but remains open as it presently stands with care continuing for each resident who lives there. The 24 hour care and security the unit provides is invaluable to each resident and gives their families assurance and peace of mind.
