Tell Congress to Support Plan Providing Free Community College!

President Obama has proposed a plan to Congress asking them to pass legislation allowing 2 free years of community college to "anyone willing to work for it."

This initiative will remove the burden of steep debt when a potential student is trying to decide whether or not to attend college. While some may see this as a so-called "entitlement" it is much more. Education is the vital key for American's to continue to lead and be financially secure. With free education and job training citizens can move out of poverty and actually lessen the cost of unemployed people on our country's economy.

Please sign this petition urging every member of Congress to take proactive steps toward building a stronger nation by providing 2 years of free community college to our citizens.

Dear Members of the United States Congress:

We (the undersigned) respectfully ask you to support President Obama's plan to provide 2 years of community college free to any citizen willing to work for it. As you know, marketable skills and jobs training builds a stronger and more stable economy. Many citizens are forced into the welfare system because they lack the funds for a proper education to achieve success in the job market.

By removing the staggering burden of college debt America will have more citizens trained to compete in the worldwide job market, thus, enabling them to buy clothes, homes, food and other necessities of life. The resulting influx of money into the economy can only be described as a strong, positive step.

Please pass this plan.

Sincerely,
