Brookland Park (Richmond, VA) Needs A Dog Park!

There is an old, dilapidated dog park in Northside, but it is a 10 minute drive from the booming area of Brookland Park. Our neighborhood does not have a dog park, and as more people are moving into the area, the need is becoming greater. Many have resorted to using a fenced-in ball park (with permission of the groundskeeper), but this is not an appropriate option. We would like a dog park centrally located in the Brookland Park/Northside area.
