Please sign and share this petition worldwide on all media sites as we speak out to Burger King in Canada to join many other fast food establishments by removing soda from the kid's meal menu and offering healthier choices. With many places such as the U. S. Burger King's and even the Wendy's in Canada offering a more nutritious option for children, we are asking that Burger King of Canada follow suit by not offering soda as part of a kid's meal.

Various fast food establishments are trying to encourage kids to eat healthier meals with better, more nutritious choices including Burger King in the US and others worldwide. Soft drinks are a default food item that is removed from the many fast food children's menu, opting for milk as a better choice.

Adding milk as a default item to a child's menu is a way to promote better health and nutrition for youngsters and parents can still request a sugary drink, if that is what they choose. Your Burger King in Canada still offers soft drinks as the default option rather than milk, apple or orange juice. Pressure to serve better options comes from the consumer advocacy group that is concerned about childhood obesity.

In compliance with the advocacy groups and the Aliance for a Healthy Generation, McDonal's, Burger King's in the U.S., Wendy's (in the U.S. & Canada), Subway, Arby's, Chipolte's and others have already removed pop from the kid's menus. We are asking that the Canada Burger King's also live up to the standards of the Children's Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative and opt for healthier lifestyles for kids under age 12. Help us in these efforts for healthier youth by signing and sharing this petition every possible on all your media sites and make your voices heard.

Burger King Officials in Canada - As is with most other Burger King's. we are asking that you please take soda pop off of the children's menu and opt for better choices such as milk or 100 percent fruit juices. If parents want other sugary drinks, they can request them but remove them as a default beverage on the kids menu and help to promote better nutrition for healthier youth.
