Facebook, please reevaluate your nudity policy

"Facebook has a strict policy against the sharing of pornographic content and any explicitly sexual content where a minor is involved. We also impose limitations on the display of nudity. We aspire to respect people’s right to share content of personal importance, whether those are photos of a sculpture like Michelangelo's David or family photos of a child breastfeeding."

Young children wearing simple diapers or bathtime photos with the bare bottoms showing are not nudity or pornography whether the child is male or female.  Breastfeeding is not nudity or pornography.  This is a natural part of life and punishing mothers, fathers and artists for sharing these beautiful photographs is wrong.  There is nothing sexual in these photographs, in fact these are the most beautiful innocent photos on facebook.

Can you please reevaluate your criteria regarding family nudity?

After you sign this petition, please head over and tell facebook why you think this policy is wrong at this link.

Photo above shared with permission from Laura Short.  Her work is innocently beautiful and not pornographic in any way.  Go tell her hi!
