As I'm sure many of you have had your hearts opened over the years by adopting, or fostering sheltered pit bulls over the years and learning the true intent ofntheir hearts, personalities, and bravery; I'm hoping to win over the hearts and opinions of many, many more people when it comes to the plight of any and all abandoned pit bulls that find their way to the butcher shop they call a shelter, here in Harrison County, Indiana. I myself have just recently had to become the unwilling new owner of two pit bulls that were left behind by my sister. I did not have the resources for acceptable living conditions for them at my new house but, after being informed that the shelter is an instant kill-only shelter for pits, then I spent my mortgage payment, built a new kennel, and am happy to report that both are NOW fat, happy little goofballs.....BUT THE MURDERS HAVE TO STOP!!!!!!! PLEASE sign to get this shelter ordinance changed so all the other pits roaming loose here that are found, get their second chance at being fat, happy goofballs, as well.
