On June 15 the US military's Northern Edge training exercise http://youtu.be/KiC61M6vUgw is set to begin in the pristine Arctic waters of the Gulf of Alaska, critical habitat for marine mammals, fish and salmon who are at risk from missiles and sonar. In response Russia has moved 43,000 tonnes of military equipment to the Arctic, including satellite surveillance and the use of drones. Stop the militarization of the Arctic.
