Proposed on March 21 by Senator Harry Reid, the Safe Communities, Safe Schools act of 2013 seeks to end the deadly loopholes that have been plaguing the United States for years. The Bill would fill the National Instant Criminal Background Check is a complete list once more, and require that said background check be used in all firearms sales. This would be a huge step forward, and would counteract the untold amount of firearms sales that occur every day over the internet and at gun sales; with no verification as to if the recipient is a criminal. This bill would hinder no one’s rights, and will lower the massive amount of murders and suicides occurring each day.
