No to the cull of foxes!

In the North of France, in the department of Oise, in the forest next to Compiègne is planned a large cull of foxes between the 17th and the 23rd of March. This hunting period has been called ironically "Ch'tis fox Day" as if it was a festivity! The name hunters call this hunting is a real disgrace!

Foxes are told to spread a disease but we know and we have the possibility to treat them instead of killing them. On another hand, hunters, poachers and professional trappers kill every day or night foxes in or out their dens. Professional trappers have the authorization to put traps and kill foxes or other "pest" animals every night, hunters send their dogs inside foxes earth and on the whole a lot of foxes are kill on a regular way which means that the number of foxes is not at the stake and if it goes on this way, soon foxes will disappear from our countryside while they lend lot of services by controlling pests that eat the cereals.

In Oise department, people are ashamed of this massive culling and we want that the French Government and the Minister of Environment find another solution than massive killing.

Please, go on with signatures to stop this cruel cull !!
