Man Acquitted for FOUR Rape Trials - Why is This Not Taken Seriously?

Registered sex offender Nelson Clifford has now been acquitted for FOUR rapes since 2011. These crimes have been documented with DNA evidence and witness testimonies, but the cool and casual nature of Clifford's testimonies have somehow convinced juries.

Each time, Clifford claims that the sex acts were consensual and that the women are mad at him because they have boyfriends, or for some other reason. But with allegations that Clifford tied one woman up and held a knife to her as he forced her to perform a sex act, it is clear that these cases are not being given the consideration they warrant.

FOUR trials is completely unacceptable. The odds of this many accusations being false, especially with DNA evidence, is incredibly slim. But somehow judges think it is okay to treat each of these cases as completely separate from the others, and let him off each time.

Please sign this petition asking Baltimore Police Department and State's Attorney Gregg Bernstein to STOP this victim blaming and perpetuation of rape culture, and take these rape allegations seriously with a thorough review of the facts!
