Demand a Secure Campus for IUPUI!

IUPUI is located in Indianapolis, a city with a rising crime rate. Over 30,000 students are enrolled and each one assumes their protection will be provided while walking throughout campus. When that safety is compromised there is an issue. I propose that IUPD provide self-defense classes and that IUPUI put more light poles and emergency poles in place on the edges of campus. If they fail to improve the current situation then they are failing to meet there mission statement, which can be found on their website. Safety is an important and the frequent crimes we are seeing here are an issue!
