BOYCOTT ALL TRAVEL TO JAPAN UNTIL DOLPHIN SLAUGHTER STOPS!

BOYCOTT PERSONAL TRAVEL TO JAPAN UNTIL DOLPHIN HUNT STOPS!!!

A cruel, selfish and gruesome custom of Dolphin Hunting occurs seasonally from Sept until April in Taiji, JApan. Dolphins caught are used for human consumption or resale to dolphinariums. Since the start of the season on September 1st, 2013 a total of 1,187 dolphins from six species have been driven into the cove and of this total 618 were slaughtered, 422 were released and 146 were live-capture.

As with every hunting season, this year’s dolphin hunt is full of tragic stories, with the most recent being of the capture of a rare 1 year old albino calf. The calf was ripped away from her protective mother and sold to the Taiji Whale Museum for a lifetime of captivity.

The Taiji Whale Museum recently issued a contradictive statement: “Albinos stand out and tend to be targeted by predators. She must have been protected by her mother and her mates. We will take good care of her.”

After searching for her calf unsuccessfully the mother committed suicide (As conscious breathers, dolphins can choose not to take their next breath. When the stress of captivity, or being ripped apart from their families, becomes too great to bear they can end their own lives).

Protest this barbaric custom by BOYCOTTING ALL TRAVEL TO JAPAN until the government bans dolphin hunting.
