Riverside County California Sheriff Stan Sniff could be forced to close patrol stations and further reduce officers to meet strict budget cuts. Riverside County is the 2nd largest sheriff department in California, yet our community is facing having 0.75 patrol deputies per 1000 people.
Residents in Aguanga , Anza and other unincorporated areas need the sheriffs now more than ever. Theft, drug related crime and mail theft surged to new highs for residents. Neighbors live beside known criminals and face threat and harassment awaiting justice.
We as tax paying residents have had community meetings with sheriff's officers and implemented community action to help our officers. But there is simply no substitute for the officers that help enforce our laws and protect us.
