Human & Animal Rights

January 24th 2014 KTN Kenyan News documented our worst fears with regards to the catastrophic famine that has since hit Turkana. Drought, lack of water “if any”, poor soil and agricultural land, environmental climate change has now devastated the region forcing many to now consume dog meat. Over 100 villages within the Turkana region are now in dire need of food and water from which we call upon the Department for International Development to now push water and aid into Turkana immediately.

We the undersigned call on the Department for International Development – United Kingdom

The Honourable Governmental Ministries hereto named as;

Rt Hon Alan Duncan MP - Minister of State for International Development

Lynne Featherstone Parliamentary MP - Under Secretary of State for International Development

The Rt Hon Justine Greening MP - Secretary of State for International Development

To now implement immediate food and water aid to one hundred (100) villages within Turkana Africa and send with immediate affect water bore engineers and medical teams to the area thus combatting further dog and cat meat consumption, aiding human and animal welfare/rights.

Water is needed a vital source of living from which aids both immediate human and animal (cattle welfare) and to provide an aqua source to irrigate agricultural land. Without these basic amenities the people of Turkana will suffer furthermore, the dog and cat meat trade will increase colossally thus bringing about infectious disease and death.

Sincerely yours
