We live in a representative republic, therefore our elected officials act in our name. They are charged with the task of safeguarding our rights and protecting our interests along with the responsibility of administering government according to the guidelines spelled out in the Constitution. The current infringements on our inalienable rights and the general mismanagement of our nation’s affairs vastly exceed mere incompetence. One need only look the horrors occurring in the Middle East. The death and destruction that is playing out following the “Arab Spring” including the creation and arming of the group called ISIS are the products of western intelligence. This is just one of the atrocities committed in our name.
The fact that the authority and reputation of the person is inherent in their name is a concept found throughout history as well as throughout the Bible. In Revelation 18:4 a voice from Heaven is heard saying "come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, that ye receive not of her plagues." The Declaration of Independence states that the government derives its power from the consent of the governed. Could it be that by withdrawing our consent, in a formal contractual way, we would meet the requirements of Rev. 18:4 and avoid her plagues? I think so. Therefore what started out as a political statement in 2009 now seems more like a strategic spiritual response to an ever spreading evil that is pervading our country.
Let all Bible believing Christians take this template and fill in some of their own reasons (visit the Consent Withdrawn Initiative page of R1920.org for access to the editable word document) and flood Washington D.C. and our state governments with it, OR sign this petition and let them know they have lost their authority. With this, we wash our hands of the blood spilled, atrocities committed, and evil spread - these individuals NO LONGER act in our names.

You have removed God from our society, yet our country, our laws, our customs and traditions are based on His law. We are a nation of religious freedom and tolerance, but, we are a Christian nation.

You swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, yet you continue to ignore its tenants. CONSENT WITHDRAWN
You refuse to secure our borders, you see Illegal Aliens as a voting block to keep you in office. CONSENT WITHDRAWN
You are constantly meddling in our business and personal affairs, making us miserable with all your senseless rules and regulations. We couldn’t comply if we wanted to. CONSENT WITHDRAWN
You have looked the other way as over 50 million innocent lives have been taken in the name of “convenience,” and continued to do so as the body parts of those innocents are bought and sold in a marketplace of pure evil.

You have become arrogant, self-serving, and corrupt. You don’t seem to understand the concept of a Representative Republic. You are supposed to represent OUR interests, not yours. Our interests are; LIBERTY, JUSTICE and FREEDOM. You are there to safeguard these. You have violated a sacred trust. It is for these reasons listed and others that I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT of your governance.
