Our country has done a horrendous job of focusing on what's important to its future. Our government figures are more focused on war and other destructive events, instead of focusing on the education of its future leaders. Help us put an end to that and give our country a new hope for the fast-approaching future by signing this petition.
What we are trying to accomplish is getting more funds for public education in the United States. To do this we will be writing letters to the United States Secretary of Education and various local boards of education. As a current public school student, I see first hand how the lack of funding affects our education. We rarely have updated textbooks and the necessary technology needed to learn in this day and age. There are also many children who are not able to receive an education in our country. Help us stop this by signing this petition.
