Keep TRIO Upward Bound Alive

TRIO Upward Bound in Lock Haven University and other universities with programs like it have been cut from the federal grant. Upward Bound is a program that gave low income first generation college students the opportunity to learn ways to better themselves and their future with post high school graduation plans. In all my years of Upward Bound they have created so many fond memories with people who without it I would have never met. With the program I was able to experience college tours, learn about building resumes, learn study skills, and how to care for myself before others. With this program I have made friends that will last a life time. So I urge you to sign this petition because a town without Upward Bound is a town without a future. Thank you for your time.
