Punish Abusers Who Let Their Dog Choke On A Wire Cable!

"Three family members have been arrested and each charged with one count of misdemeanor cruelty to a non-livestock animal after their dog, a pitbull mix, was found dead and hanging from its wire tether," reported the Houston Chronicle.

Add your name if you want to punish animal abusers who do this FOR REAL!

"Juan Javier Lopez, age 41, Maria DeJesus Lopez, age 41 and Alejandro Lopez, age 18, were arrested by the Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Constable's Office's anti-animal cruelty task force on July 10.

"Court documents allege that the three family members "did intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly confine an animal, namely a dog in cruel manner by tying the dog with wire cable and not checking on the dog for more than 24 hours, causing the dog to become suspended by the cable, and resulting in the dog's death"," said the same source.

But it gets worse...

"Sgt. Stacy Schuelke, an investigator for the animal crimes task force, said that his office found the deceased dog hanging from its wire tether. It appears that the animal got tangled in the wire and the family had not checked on him in three days. The dog also had not been fed and was emaciated, Schuelke said," according to the same article.

How can human beings be so merciless and cruel to a little creature that only wanted to give them its love?

We have to protect animals from people like them.

Senator Bernie Sanders has been a long-term advocate for animal rights, and has co-sponsored numerous pieces of legislation to protect endangered species, as well as to combat animal cruelty.

That's why we're asking him to lead a movement in Congress that would punish convicted animal abusers severely.

Don't you want to help keep animals from the likes of the vile Lopez family?

Then add your name to ask Bernie Sanders to take charge of this issue and impose strict punishments on people who neglect their animals so badly they get tangled up and choke to death!
