Demand The Board of Education to keep Carnesville Elementary School Open!

Monday night, April 30, the Board voted unanimously to consider closing Carnesville Elementary School as a cost-saving solution. This is one of three options they are considering in response to the ever-increasing budget cuts from the state. However, we need to demand that closing CES is NOT an option. CES is a rare and wonderful school filled with a rich history and experienced, caring staff and administration. WE CANNOT LOSE THAT. If we do not make our opposition clear, Carnesville Elementary may be closed for good. I urge you to take action immediately! The vote is on May 10. Please sign this petition and send the link to all Franklin County residents whom you believe will support our cause. Please consider being present and speaking at the public meetings. We need to let the elected officials know that the voice of the people is strong and intent on our cause.

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
