Tanglewood Foundation and Uptown Houston propose the renaming of Park on San Felipe, located on S. Post Oak Lane and San Felipe Street (see map), to "Martin Debrovner Park." This action will honor the legacy of Martin Debrovner as a leader and advocate for the Tanglewood and Uptown community.

Debrovner led the effort to create the Uptown TIRZ to address the increasing needs for mobility, infrastructure and local park projects. He served as the first Chairman of the Board until his death in 2017.

The iconic Waterwall Park was successfully purchased for Houstonians for generations to come. Memorial Park, Houston's crown jewel was added to the TIRZ boundaries to ensure the beauty and long-term sustainability of this beloved urban greenspace.

It is for his passion and commitment to the community that Tanglewood Foundation and Uptown Houston, with the full support of Mrs. Linda Debrovner, propose renaming Park on San Felipe to "Martin Debrovner Park."

The City of Houston requires the support and signatures from 300 residents within a 2-mile radius of the park (see map).

To support renaming Park on San Felipe to "Martin Debrovner Park," please complete the petition on the right. All personal information is used only for this specific project and held confidential.

Thank you for your consideration in honoring the legacy of Martin Debrovner
