Demand justice for the brutally murdered pet cat in Kemerovo!

That terrible day July 9, 2015, Svetlana got a phone call from her son 14-year-old Alex. Hearing the son's voice, she realized that there was something terrible and rushed home. It appeared that her father – jobless alcoholic Eugene Koreshkov – in order to cause mental pain to his daughter and grandchildren, washed in a washing machine at the intensive mode the family pet - a 5-year-old cat Marsic. Cat was losing consciousness, foaming from his mouth; its claws were pulled out with flesh. Svetlana rushed to a veterinary clinic, where they tried to help, but finally it was in vain. In the evening, the cat was still alive, during night he died in terrible agony, pawing paws, probably trying to escape from the terrible centrifuge… In the morning cat screamed and went limp, Svetlana doing him respiration, rushed to the hospital again, but there is only stated that the cad died from injury and pulmonary edema.
From the shock Alexei, who picked up Marsic when he was kitten and loved him, had a heart attack. Severe emotional pain suffered Alexis little sister Veronica who howled, begging to return Marsic... Despite the fact that month has lasted the pain and suffering of the children do not cease. The only Eugene Koreshkov demonstrate an absolute indifference and lack of remorse.
Despite persistent Svetlana’s requests, the presence of irrefutable evidence and medical expertise, publications in the regional press and TV, local police shows mainly the same indifference to the case as Eugen Koreshkov. Despite the fact that the Russian legislation consider animal abuse as a criminal offense, the local police authorities do nothing, believing the crime “is not heavy enough". Russian police, as they used to do, does not react, trying to hush up the whole story. Ultimately, such an ignorant inaction leaded to commitment of many hardest felonies in Russia; and as in this case, the sadistic murder of pet cat in the face of the children was not the first Koreshkov’s unpunished deed.
That is the root of the problems: Russia has the law against animal abuse but due to police officials’ ignorance, it is systematically not applicable! It is necessary to force Russian officials to obey the law. We must create a precedent, when the animal offender will be punished in Russia. Please, help get the justice.

We demand you to encourage the local police and prosecuting authorities to fulfill their constitutional duty - Eugene Koreshkov, a resident of Kemerovo (Russia), deliberately murdered domestic cat in front of the children, must be prosecuted and punished in accordance with the Russian law.
