Ban the Hijab

The hijab or any others is personal and cultural concept, and should not be allowed on our police or RCMP. It is not part of their religion!

Some restrict wearing any religious clothing, including hijab, in public. Two nations (Saudi Arabia and Iran) require women to wear hijab coverings. Most nations do not have either restrictions or requirements concerning hijab clothing.

The hijab, burqa, and niqāb is not used for religious reasons, it's part of Islamic ideology. Our police forces including the RCMP should be representing Canada, they should not be representing ideologies from other nations. We cannot wear any headdress when we go and get our photos taken for any official government id, which includes removing any hood or anything else that obstructs a person's face. We are also required to remove any headdress when the National Anthem is being played. We are requesting banning the hijab and burqa from Canada since it's not a part of their religion but an Islamic symbol.
