The Brick Township Board of Education voted 4 to 1 against giving tenure to Ms. McConnell on April 19, 2012, in doing so she will no longer be able to stay on as Principal of Drum Point Road Elementary School.
In the mere 2 years Ms. McConnell has been Principal, she has thoroughly enriched our school, she has secured grants and allocated funding to enhance our technology, in which every classroom has benefited by purchasing 17 Interactive projectors, 6 IPads, 5 document cameras and 12 Netbooks. Ms. McConnell has implemented reading and writing programs with literacy contests to encourage our students. She has created faculty workshops to further develop and enhance teacher/student interaction. She is a hands on Principal who works solely for the benefit of the children. She has brought a ray of sunshine to Drum Point which radiates through out our whole school, in the 2 years she has been Principal, there has been a significant increase in our test scores. Ms. McConnell has the right to remain Principal, she has worked for it, and she has earned it!!!

This petition is in support of keeping Ms. Allison McConnell as the Principal of Drum Point Road Elementary School.

By signing this petition you will be asking the Board of Education to rescind their decision and let Ms. McConnell continue to be the Principal of Drum Point Road Elementary School.
