E! Network - Do Not Cancel "The Soup"

The Soup is one of the funniest shows on television. Its sarcastic and satirical reports on current entertainment events, like Reality Show Clip Time and obscure events like Tales From Home Shopping, make it unique and enjoyable for its viewers. Joel McHale, the host of the show, has the sarcastic type of humor to make the show as funny as it is. There is no other show like it on television.
E Network executives.......there is more to television on your network than any show about the Kardashians. At some point they are going to go away and you are going to have a lot of empty time slots. The Soup has been on for 12 years in one format or another. Its longevity is a testament to how good it is. Canceling it has been a big mistake. When the show ends, so does my cable subscription to your network.

E Network Executives....there is more to your network than any show about the Kardashians. The Soup has been on for 12 years for a reason......because it is funny and people like it. I'm shocked that it is being canceled while other shows on your network, in particular anything about the Kardashians, are allowed to exist. That family won't be popular forever and you will have a lot of empty time slots on your network. Alternative networks, like Netflix, are picking up shows from your network and will most likely continue to do so.Chelsea Lately is just one example. I'm very disappointed in your network and have no reason to keep it on my cable subscription after The Soup is gone.

Update #18 years ago
E! responded to my post and said that in no uncertain terms that the show is done, petition or not. They also said that it would be at least a year, if at all, for another network to pick it up. Well, it is their loss. I would like to see a better response so The Soup is more attractive to another network.
