PEOPLE OF BROOKLYN, THE NYC AREA & AROUND THE WORLD!

In efforts to initiate 'real' discussion and 'real' action toward the future construction of a dog walk/run in or near Lincoln Terrace Park we, LTPA - the Lincoln Terrace Park Alliance - have created this petition to show the magnitude of community concern & support for the need of this project.

DOGS NEED TO RUN! THEY NEED EXERCISE & PLAYTIME TO MAINTAIN THIER PROPER HEALTH & WEIGHT. DOGS ARE SOCIAL CREATURES JUST LIKE US. HAVING THIS WALK/RUN WILL HELP WITH SOCIALIZATION & IT HELPS KEEP OUR SIDEWALKS CLEAN!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT WILL GIVE THE DOGS & OWNERS A SAFER PLACE TO BE WITH THEIR DOGS. MANY TIMES THE OWNERS ARE FINED FOR TAKING THEIR DOGS OFF THE LEASH BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME but this PARK CAN BE DARK and DESOLATE (during off-the-leash hours 9pm) SO IT WOULD BE TO THE BENEFIT OF ALL TO HAVE A SAFE PLAY SPACE THAT'S AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES on a DAILY BASIS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrERpubUnwo

JOIN US: Saturday, NOVEMBER 19th 2016 for the LINCOLN TERRACE 'BARK' ALLIANCE MORNING WALK - Meet&Greet Doggy style... HOURS 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM. Rain or Shine. All ages, dog owners and park-goers, are welcome. Get to know your Neighbor. Fundraising site is temporarily closed to make some needed updates.

Hello, to all the dogs and 'Park Goers" I ran into today - I mean you Stephie, Keely, Niamh, Tim, Gina, Freeda, Remy, Rudy, Georgi, Chibi, China, Max and everyone one and every dog whose name I can't remember right now! Thanks for sharing your concerns and interest. I'll see ya soon!
