Amend the Housing Benefit Under Occupancy charge (BEDRROM TAX) as its unfair

  • by: John Hinds

The Housing Benefit Underoccupancy charge should be amended and made more flexible for tenants in social and council properties as many are unfairly being charged the Bedroom Tax. If you require a one bedroom property and there are none for you to move into to then this is not the fault of the tenant so therefore the bedroom tax SHOULD NOT be charged. We think this is an infringement of your human rights and goes against the Housing Benefit laws and the whole ethos of the Bedroom Tax charge. Please sign this petition as the BEDROOM TAX charges need revised or scrapped.
