Kentucky is known for it's Bluegrass and Thoroughbreds. But did you know Kentucky is ranked as the worst state in the U.S. for animal cruelty laws for the seventh year in a row. Urge our government to improve standards and laws against animal cruelty. This is a serious crime that needs serious laws.

Mayor Greg Fischer.

My name is Rona Bruce. I am sending this petition with 1,353 signatures. On Animal Cruelty in the State of Kentucky. For the last seven (7) years Kentucky has ranked number one (1) as the worst state in the U.S for animal cruelty. Kentucky should be ashamed. The state that prides itself for it's thoroughbreds should have better laws against animal cruelty. I hope that you will take the time and effort to change the laws. You are letting "sociapaths" have free reign on innocent animals.

Thank you,

Rona Bruce
