Jake needs immediate help

Jake went to the vets today to have his bandages removed, Jake will not need to wear his beautiful colorful head wraps any more until the next surgery.
I have been really concerned with his pneumonia today Dr Moore listened to his lungs and feels he is doing better but we will repeat chest xrays on Tuesday to make sure we are getting better
Tuesday we will also be removing his staples from his 1st surgery he looks very good where his incision is there is some redness we are hoping its just irritation from the head wrap and not more infection
Jake overall looks a heck of a lot better you can tell he is feeling better on the side the surgery was
his head has went down in size from all the infection being drained out he also is feeling better not as much shaking his head and trying to scratch at it .
He also seems to have more energy and wants to play – he can’t right now he still needs to remain calm because of the pneumonia but you can see a huge difference with just 1 surgery being done
We are still raising funds and trying to network Jake to other people who don’t know his story yet with over 2000 people on his page if everyone donated $2.00 we would be all set his next surgery is going to be $6700.00 for just one ear that’s because it has to be done in an ER hospital with a 1- 2 day stay we are expecting complications and it’s just not safe to do it in a regular animal hospital setting we almost lost our boy last time 107.6 fever and couldn’t breathe , turning blue we will not chance it again .
Jake’s face as you can see in the new pics is not droopy like it was and his eye is doing ½ blinks it’s trying to come back from being paralyzed we are not there yet bet I hope we will get there soon it is showing signs of being temporary rather than permanent – I pray every day that he will be normal and It will all come back so keep praying I think it’s working
Last we will be setting up 2 meetings / consultations with 2 surgeons next week after his staples are removed to set up plans to move forward I have a million questions and they need to see Jake so im excited and nervous all at the same time.
Jake is making new friends every time we go out people just want to love him and he wants to love them right back.
