Put a Stop to Police Unsupervised Action & Citizen Brutality

After seeing multiple senseless violent acts by law enforcement, I am putting together a nationwide petition to make it mandatory for police officers to have cameras on their person's and on their vehicles. I believe that passing a law of this magnitude would not only protect all United States citizens but also keep police officers, and investigators, accountable for their actions, and protect them from unlawful claims. We are currently reaching out to Congress and the President to make this a national law in the United States. Please sign and share with others

Dear Members of Congress,

My purpose for writing to you is to express great concern over the lack of accountability of local police officers throughout this country, and to ask for your support in creating a new policy towards making it mandatory for police officers to have cameras on their person's and inside of their police vehicles. I believe that passing a law of this magnitude would not only protect all United States citizens but also keep police officers, and investigators, accountable for their actions, and protect them from unlawful claims.

In this year alone we have seen the rise of an unprecedent amount of police brutality cases covered by the news media and posted throughout many of the social media sites. This is an issue that we need to react on quickly so that we can restore America's trust in our law enforcement and our legal process. I urge you to take a strong role by pushing this policy into national law. The American people would be extremely greatful, and it would be a testament to all citizens that no one is above the law... not even the ones who have sworn to protect and uphold it.

Thank you for your attention on this important matters and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!

Sincerely,
Verna Ingram
