Demand an end to needless slaughtering of dolphins

Denmark is a big shame.  The sea is stained red and it’s not because of the climate effects of nature.  It's because of the cruelty that the human beings (supposedly civilized humans) kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins. This happens every year in Feroe Island in Denmark.  The main participants in this slaughter are young teens.  Why?  It's a celebration to show that they are adults and mature!  In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun.  Everyone is participating in one way or another; killing or looking at the cruelty and supporting it like a spectator. The dolphin calderon, like all the other species of dolphins, are near extinction.  They are so socialable that they get near men to play and interact in a way of PURE friendship and this is what happens to them.

They don’t die instantly.  They are cut one, two, even three times with thick hooks. The dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child. But he suffers and there’s no compassion while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood. Its enough!

Help to put a stop to this horrendous practice.  Let's tell Denmark's prime minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, that the world will not abide by this practice any longer.  Thank you.

Update #19 years ago
Thanks for signing Demand An End To the Needless Slaughter of Dolphins in Denmark. I need your help again. We only have 575 signatures. Please re-post and ask those who see it to do the same. When I have enough signatures, I'm going after the this guy myself. Dolphins are one of the smartest and friendliest creatures on earth. When I lived in Florida, they would come up to us in the water all the time. We would have such fun with them! Once again, thank you for your help and support. Diana Lowe
