DEMAND A STOP TO MASSIVE TREE CLEARING IN HEADON FOREST HYDRO RIGHT OF WAY

How can the trees in the Headon Forest right of way be felled as planned, and with such little notice. These beaufiful trees provide a habitiat for many bird species and enjoyment to local citizens using the paths for biking and walking. These trees are safe distance from the hydro lines. This was deemed so several years ago, when inspectors came to each property along this Headon Forest right of way and determined at that time which trees would be allowed to remain and which trees would have to be removed. What has changed? Why must all the trees be removed? It seems the reason for this massive clearing only serves the purpose of doing what is cheapest. It's a sad day when a simple annual maintenance/tree triming program isn't considered to be the best solution for the environment and local citizens. Show you care...please sign our petition.
