I believe that the focus on juvenile criminals should be geared toward rehabilitation opposed to punishment. When juveniles are put in the adult prisons, they are subject to a harsh reality. They are put beside adults who have no desire to better themselves. These adults stoop to low levels and are quite abusive. There is a juvenile system for a reason and to expect children to act like adults is unjust
