Lip Service is a groundbreaking show that has captured the hearts and imaginations of fans and we are desperate for more episodes. Writer Harriet Braun and producers Kudos have brought to life a side of contemporary British gay life that is largely absent from TV drama. What's more they've done so in a way that is highly entertaining and accessible, and has proved hugely popular with audiences. There are 85,000 fans on Facebook and 32,000 followers on Twitter. Despite the long wait between seasons one and two, audiences remained loyal to the show and watched in anticipation of the dramatic twists and turns that saw the show trending on Twitter every time it was on. Without Lip Service, lesbians remain massively under-represented in the British media. However, Lip Service and the love the fans have for the show is about so much more than representation. The show is dramatically strong and relevant, very funny and with characters we all love and engage with. And the audience deserves to hear the end of the story. So please BBC Three, give us a final series and a fitting end to a brilliant programme.
